I just bought a Toshiba Android TV model 40L54. However, I still can't connect the TV with a Wi-Fi network.

From the Wi-Fi setting of the Android TV, I could see a list of APs. When I clicked to access one of these, it only displayed assigning IP, then showed saved but didn't get any IP. I tried with other devices. iPhone 4s and Samsung Tab S 8.4' can connect to the wifi but IPad 2 can't.

If I turn on the hotspot from my iphone 4s, then I can connect to this wifi from the TV. I checked the access point device that is Linksys G 2.4 GHz. I am not sure if iphone 4s also generates signal at 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz and is that a G or N network.

Is there anything I can do to fix the problem? Thank you very much.

*Please note that the access point doesn't require a password.

I am not sure what happened, but after observed the network some days, I think the root of problem may caused by an unstable router.

The network generated from iPhone 4S is a g/n network that should has the same standard as that of Linksys.

I still don't know the techinal terms for the problem at router. We just change another router and that works.
