Hi to all. after unidentified couple of hours, the display black out and start showing the resolution box you can see in the posted link. this box float over the screen and I cant remove it, even after pressing all keyboard keys or mouse buttons. the only chance is to restart win xp.
I whish to remark that this monitor is shared between 2 different pc, one with win 7 and the other with xp.
i switch over one pc to the other using a specific switch button.
the pc with win 7 never shows this problem.
the pc with win xp is devoted to check our warehouse temperature 24 a day.
therefore i would need to minimize the times i have to reboot it.
please help me and thanks in advance

I think Windows XP is sending the wrong display resolution for that particular monitor, hence the floating reminder from the monitor's built-in features.

Check that the display resolution on the Windows XP PC is set to 1366 x 768 as shown in the floating box.

If it's not that, it might be a third-party screensaver in Windows XP. Find that screensaver & uninstall or disable it.

Whatever it is, it's evidently a setting or a utility in Windows XP that's causing it so it's in Windows XP that you need to look.
