I have recently purchased both the Asus ROG Maximus VII Ranger motherboard and the Asus Strix GTX 750 Ti graphics card. I have assembled all the components. When the Graphics Card is installed and I attempt to boot the system, the motherboard displays the error code AE (meaning: Legacy Boot event) then the computer does not boot, and I can not access the BIOS. I have tested this by removing the graphics card and attempting to boot the system, the motherboard still shows the error code AE although the screen turns on and I can access the BIOS. However this is unhelpful as the intent of the build is for gaming and no graphics card does not meet that purpose. So, Is this merely a fault of my construction of the system? Or is the Graphics card/motherboard faulty?
