Hey everyone, so my friend gave me this GPU he had laying around his house and i found out it's the SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5450 which is a 1gb card.

I checked the reviews on Newegg and their not bad but this is a 40 dollar card at best.... I am not sure if i should even install this.... Didn't know what to say when he gave it to me since i didn't know what it was but i am thinking it might be good to install since all i have is my cpu and no dedicated gpu in my system.

My question is is this worth installing? I mean all i have now is a integrated graphics chip in my i5-4690k so being a standalone gpu its better than the one in my i5 right?

The 2nd question is which drivers do i download.... i generally download every driver i see which isn't the best approach since their are a lot of drivers (I would greatly appreciate some direction with this part)

Here is the overview of the card:

Ha, i figured it might be kind of outdated not like the 970 that I really wanna get however thinking since it was a actual gpu it might have been better in some sense.

I dont know the numbers GPU's run in like my integrated HD 4600 being better than a HD 5450, not sure being that it's a lower number does that mean it's better? is it that simple? probably not :p just trying to understand really :)

thanks for your quick help
