Help with too cheaply good to be true i5-4460

Hey guys, I found this ad stating that he sells i5-4460s for only P6,500 ($145) and i know for a fact that they atleast cost P8,000 ($178). mean, it costs $178 on USA, and Intel is based there.
Now, I dont know if this is too good to be true, because I have been a victim of online transactions before ($13 scam).

Could you guys please help me on this, his ad is a bit legitimate in general, He has 8 feedbacks on this website, and another 22 on another website in which he has also posted. A number of good comments from people who have purchased other stuff from him, and also the same i5-4460. He also makes meet-ups with the buyer.

So a few things I dont know about, (1) Are there any fake i5-4460s circulating about? (2) Are there any distributors of the processor who distribute them at such a price that it makes him sell it this cheap? (3) I dunno help me I cant speak good english this long (4) Basically. I want this, but I don't want it to be fake, because i dont like losing money because im on a cheap budget on my build

If it's too good to be true. Chances are it is. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117302 if you don't wanna take the risk i'd just fork over the extra 40-50 bucks and get it from a legit retailer. Especially if you've been burned before. Also i've never seen that site before seems a bit iffy, though i could also be wrong. It all depends on you.

If it's still in a sealed box, take a look at the fancy Intel sticker on the box. It's one of those "holographic" ones. Box should look like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117302

Also look into the little "window" or opening on the top of the box and make sure the CPU model number matches the one on the box.

Yeah all it shows is the picture of a box. If the dude only shows one picture either he's a terrible seller or he's not showing everything.

You can buy I5 4460's straight from China in lots of 10,50,100 and 1000. @ 100 the cost is ~$56 +/- 25% depending on the supply and they will send you a test sample. This guy might have bought a lot Like I use to do with I5 920's and 950's. He could have also bought it by mistake and not wanting to pay the restocking fee + shipping which can be as much as 50% depending on where he bought it. Ask to see pictures of the Seal that is on the top of the box as well as why he is selling it cheap.

http://www.alibaba.com/ You can negotiate with the manufactures directly. There are a few manufactures I still buy from, they give quite the discount when you have done business with them for 10 years like we have.

Interesting very interesting. I had no idea thats what Alibaba was for.is it just for buying in bulk from chip manufacturers. Also i remember hearing that 60% or 40% of all goods on i believe alibaba were supposedly fakes? Or something along those lines? i could be wrong it could be a different site all together.

I wouldn't call him a terrible seller but more of a lazy to put up a good ad kind of seller.
So I went and bought this from him through a meetup.

At 1st I thought it was a fake due to certain differences like no intel hologram sticker, no mcaffee promo on the front, different sticker on the heatsink & fan, etc.
So I panicked thinking that I was scammed with a very good chinese counterfeit.
I checked the intel warranty and it is still available.
