Will the stock Intel heatsink deliver worse performance?

So i bought a gaming pc on black friday. It has an i5 4690 with the stock Intel heat sink attached to it. The case has an intake fan on the side and an exhaust fan in the back. I was wondering if I would get better performance out of the cpu if I were to get the stock intel fan switched with an Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. If so, how significant would the increase in performance be? I play games like CS GO, Minecraft, BF4, and soon GTA V.

THanks!!!

The stock cooler does great at stock speeds. An after market cooler would drop the temperature a little bit, but I don't think you're going to notice much of a bump in performance. You have a non-K CPU, so I'm guessing you won't be OCing. Stick with the stock cooler and put the 30 bucks towards something else.

For that cpu the stock cooler is fine as it is not overclock able...If u buy cm hyper evo u will get about 10-15 C less under load. idle temps may be same...
The new cooler wont increase performance but may decrease sound produced also increase cpu life by a small margin...
