So, I'm back at it again, building a monster gaming P.C. to hopefully last me another 5-6 years with no major upgrades. I've compiled a list of components from my studies on tom's and other forums, that I think will happily take me into the 2020's and am hoping for some Pro. input to say yay or nay as I'm far from an expert. Three of my real concerns are cooling, noise, and Db's, a loud desktop can ruin an experience. Here is a list of parts, please give laymens terms in the critique if at all possible. Thank you all.

I7 5930k
Asrock x99 OC formula
Gskill Ripjaw 32GB 2133 mhz
GTX 980 TI (unless it takes to long to release) Then 2xGTX 980 SLI
2x Samsung 850 EVO 1TB (RAID 0)
2x Barracuda 2TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0 (not in RAID) Thx to Toms Forum user
Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 10 1200 watt (will find a 1000w to replace this) Thx to Toms Forum user
Corsair Graphite Series ATX 780T
Recently decided on custom water cooling thanks to Toms Forum user
and a blue ray palyer/burner

Unlocked CPU, and you intend to put them under water cooling. They should do 4.0ghz, without any problems. Unaware of any K series cpu, Sandy Bridge or newer, that couldn't easily do that with just a multiplier bump to 40.

That PSU is overkill. An Evga 850w G2 series should be plenty. Even with a space heater of an FX 9590, with GTX 980 in SLI, you would be fine with it. The FX 9590 is a 220w CPU. The 5xxx are 140w cpu. I do not think the 5930k is worth the added cost of the 5820k, as you said no major upgrades. 3tb drives are not much more than 2tb.

Is 1 m.2 drive faster boot times than 2 evo ssd's? As far as I know my choice of the asrock x99 has only one m.2 slot (it says it also has an ultra m.2 slot but im not sure what that means) so I could only put in one of these drives (so no raid 0). Is that the better opton?
