Hey, I've been using the AMD Radeon HD 5570 for 3 years now and it's starting to die a bit, so I'm switching to the Sapphire Dual-x R9 280x, my current PSU is only 440 watt, so I obviously need an upgrade cause I heard you need at least 550 watt. I don't want to waste money on a PSU that won't work, so I want to make completely sure i get the correct one.

Intel (R) Core (TM) i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20 GHz
6gb of ram

Thank you!

It would work but the Corsair Builder series uses poor capacitors. Get a power supply manufactured by XFX or Seasonic or get the power supply that WildCard999 recommended.
