Hey, my CPU cooler keeps making buzzing sounds when i am adjusting somenthing in photoshop, loading games or programs, on heavy loads. Is that normal? The noise is really irritating.
It has a PWM control on the fan so it goes from 800rpm to 2800rpm when it thinks it needs the extra cooling. There are likely settings in the bios you can adjust the speeds &/or the parameters that make it kick in just make sure it doesn't overheat. Also I notice in the video the case fan is not spinning which may cause the CPU to get hotter activating the higher speed.
If you have a stock cpu cooler it reacts quickly to changes in temps of the cpu. This fan rpm changes might come off as sudden frequency change in the noise you experience. That would be normal. If you want to do something about that you will need to get a new cooler. Unless of course you are using a laptop...
You should give a bit more info on what system you have so we can help you better. Cheers =)
I have Cooler Master tx3 evo on A8 6600K. This only happens when cpu is doing somenting. Here is the video, you can hear it on 0:42 after mouse click. Also on video it is very quiet in real life it is much more irritating and louder. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXqFP6VhixY&feature=youtu.be
