Hey everyone, I built this computer a little while back. And whenever I play intensive games. Currently playing Crysis. The cpu fan spins up to a very high RPM, Now I understand that it is getting much hotter while I am playing games. And it needs to keep the processor cool. However is there a scenario where the cpu fan is spinning to fast?

Under load it gets to speed of 6000+ rpm The noise I can deal with. I just want to make sure I am not going to fry something in my computer.

I am using a Phenom II 965 BE ( I know they do not have the quietest stock coolers )

Msi 760GM-p34 Motherboard.

I do not play around with much montoring or anything so im not really sure what I am doing. If there would be a way for me to closely monitor temps And turning down the cpu fan speed maybe. To something a little more comfortable. I would love some help/recomendations
