I have the z97 Gaming 9 ack... will putting my dual channel (16gb 8x2) in he far right slots affect anything? This is so I can fit my cpu cool which is a NH-D15. Thanks!

If both are in the 2 far slots - 3-4, then you'll be running in single channel mode, preferred is in 1-3 or 2-4 for dual channel mode - up to a 10-15% performance increase
