I have an Fx-8350 and R9 280. When I first got it a couple weeks ago, I was getting great fps in games like CSGO, and BF4. But, after I played Dying Light for about 7 hours straight, I have a sudden drop in fps, and graphics quality. Is there anyway I can find out if the problem is I overheated my cpu, and it's messed up, or if it's something else?

Ok, I just did that, AND I monitored my cpu usage/temps. They were fine. But, when I turned on Fraps to see what my fps was, it was a nice steady 130. So, it turns out I am just having bad lag spikes, any ideas for what I can do about that?

lolol, this is not a support center where people`s work is to help you, you will be lucky if someone would stick on your thread.

BTW, what do you mean experience will not be very enjoyable? Bare in mind that 280 also has limitations and don`t expect to play game with all maxed out settings.

Something is obviously wrong with my graphics card. With my Gtx 750 ti I get 190 fps in csgo. Last week, I was getting 260 fps with my r9 280. But now I am not. Also, I know this is not a support center, it just seems like when I want to know if I can run a game everybody answers, but if I need actual help nobody cares...

lololol because nobody have the same situation as you are. It is very difficult to give advise if you yourself did not experience the problem, you will rely on assumptions, logic and reference.

So inorder to solve your problem you must know how to solve problems.

1. Determination of the problem.
2. Data gathering.
3. Data verification.
4. Solution.
5. Conclusion.
6. Recommendation.

R9 280 is a way better than GTX 750ti.
