Unparking cores for games

Hi all,

I'm looking to unpark my cores for the games; Planetside 2 and ArmA 3. These games use only 2 cores and whilst my CPU attains stable 60-75 FPS on small - medium battles, my FPS drops to around 30-40 in super massive battles. It is still playable yes but I want to unpark my cores so I can maintain around 60-75 FPS in massive battles if possible. So how do you unpark cores?

My CPU is currently using stock clock but I will be overclocking it when my Intel Tuning Protection Plan arrives in 30 days...

alot of games are only optimized for 2 cores. there is no way to change that. though it might be your internet connection too, check that

007agentHP, thanks for replying.

Though when I was playing Planetside 2, one person told me that he had stable 120 FPS even in massive battles and he achieved this by unparking cores. I'm skeptical if he is right or not, but does unparking cores increase overall performance in games?

Why not google what unparking does for yourself rather than someone said on some place on the internet.
