So I just built my first pc which is rocking the Pentium G3258 with stock cooler and the MSI R9 270 gpu. Now I do have the Asrock anniversary edition H97m motherboard and when I boot my pc it gives me the option to use Pentium Anniversary Boost, which would allow me up to 4.2ghz in overclock. Is that a good method for me to overclock? I'm unsure if it's ok to trust the built in overclocking utility. I figure it should be ok because the board was built for this CPU, but I still have my doubts. Now as for the GPU, I don't know how to use afterburner. I don't have any crazy cooling solution in my case. I do have quite a bit of breathing room in the case and I will soon be installing some more case fans. Any advice on how to overclock the GPU without burning it out/ damaging it?

Also I have a 500w EVGA power supply as well as 1tb WD Blue hard drive and a Samsung Dvd drive, if that helps. I was told that the 500 watt would be enough for some overclocking, but I'm not sure if that's true.

Really? I've heard that you can achieve some pretty nice overclocking with h97 and other motherboards using this pentium anniversary CPU. I was reading that you can achieve some pretty nice overclocking with the stock cooler, at least 4.0ghz to 4.2ghz at the most. Once you exceed 4.2 the temps are supposed to get too high for stock cooler. The reason it's supposed to work with the stock cooler is that the pentium doesn't draw much power or generate much heat so it's easier to keep cool on a stock cooler, but I don't know.
