Recently I installed a fresh copy of Windows on my computer, wiping everything, including all drivers. Everything is good other then my Xbox Controller which worked fine before the wipe, is no longer working. I installed the driver software for the 64 bit version right from Windows website, http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-ca/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows. However after installing the driver, as well as rebooting the controller still won't work. When I first plug it in, it flashes once and then turns off. If I go into my device manager, I see Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, but there is a yellow exclamation mark beside it. If I click properties, it tells me that
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
However, I installed the driver straight from the Microsoft website, so how it could be that it's not verified?
