Thank you for coming in guys. Your help will be highly appreciated.

I have recently upgraded my PC & found a bit slow playing on best quality on games like Dying Light & COD:AW & BF4, etc...

Here is the list for my system, can anyone please suggest a few things that will improve the performance & help it runs smoother during gaming? Many thanks!!

Intel Core i5 4670K Quad Core Retail CPU (Socket 1150, 3.40GHz, 6MB, Haswell, 84W, Intel Graphics, BX80646I74770, 4th Generation Intel Core, Turbo Boo

Gigabyte G1.SNIPER Z87 Motherboard (Socket 1150, Z87 Express, DDR3, S-ATA 600, ATX)

G Skill 4x 4GB PC3-19200 DDR3 2400MHz Gaming Memory Kit

Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU

Sapphire R9 280X 3GB Toxic 1100MHz GDDR 5 PCI Express Graphics Card

24' inch Acer G246HL with Standard Refresh Rate 60Hz

I have already slighty overclocked the CPU to 3.50GHz but am not sure how should overclock the GPU to suit the games & am also worried about the temperature cuz it usually gets up to 70'C in games. Please feel free to leave any comments, any help would be appreciated.

Dying light you will have problems 'maxing out'

as for COD/BF4 your setup should handle max fine without any OC.

Exactly what FPS Are you getting & What resolution?

also What did you upgrade from? Nvidia to AMD or straight up new build with fresh install of windows?

If you are using stock cooler, you might also have CPU overheating, especially with overclock. This will reduce your performance considerably.

Check your CPU temps while gaming with Open HW Monitor. If they approach 100C, you need a better cooler.
