amd fx63XX series are close to the i3s in price and performance they use more power but can be overclocked for extra performance. Some games favour the extra cores on the FX others (majority but not huge) favour the fewer better cores on the i3. I expected there to be many games by now that just didn't play well on dual core CPU but this does not seem to have happened but still could.
