Good evening,

I have a computer which needs to be connected to my TV which is 30m far away.

My computer has output ports options as DVI-I, DVI-D or Display Port with following specs:-
Max. resolution 1920 x 1200 @ 32 bpp

My TV (60" Sharp TV and Model:LC-60LE650M ) has input port options as
1) HDMI-1 with HDCP, ARC
2) HDMI-2 with HDCP, Audio IN (3.5mm stereo jack)
3) HDMI-3 with HDCP
4) HDMI-4 with HDCP, MHL
5) VGA port

I made the following connection but it does not work and no display appearing in my TV:- (I do not need Audio)
Computer's DVI-I port - DVI-I to HDMI adapter - HDMI/HDMI Cable - HDMI Extender (Sender) - 30m ethernet cable - HDMI Extender (Receiver) - HDMI/HDMI cable - TV's HDMI-2

I apologize am new to these type of connections. Looking forward to receive sound advise on how to tackle my problem.

Solution
Hi,

I suggest DVI-I to VGA adapter an then VGA cable (check the extender option too),
Most likely it is the HDCP compatibility issue from the source and destination devices, etc. You may try use the Display Port instead of the dvi-i port, because intel, AMD, and several computer and display manufacturers announced they would stop supporting DVI-I, VGA from 2015. http://newsroom.intel.com/community/intel_newsroom/blog/2010/12/08/leading-pc-companies-move-to-all-digital-display-technology-phasing-out-analog because you did use the HDMI Extender (sender/receiver), and the tv is HDCP compliant device.

Edit: Do you use PC or Mac? or try use other GPU that has the HDMI port.
