Hi. I connected my new camera to my computer thru ethernet and ac power. It worked wirelessly too when ethernet taken off. When I unplugged the power cord of the camera so I could move it outside, everything disappeared. I could not find the camera thru pinging it or on the lan area etc. Help please. I"m not tech savvy. Thank you.

If you had the camera working via wifi and now it is not working then you must not have saved the settings or it got reset and you will need to reconfigure it.

If the camera was only working while plugged in via Ethernet then it needs to be setup to obtain an ip address.

I'm new so I hope this is the way to address you. When I first hooked the camera up, I had an ac cord that I put in the wall and put a Cat 5 E ethernet in my router. After the camera was setup that way I also set it up wifi on a static address. Then I took out the ethernet and it indeed did work wirelessly. Then I took the camrera's ac power cord out of the wall to move the camera outside and my camera wasn't showing up wirelessly and if I reconnected the ac and ethernet, it did not show up that way either. I just found a reset button and pressed that and it doesn't seem to make any difference. Does this make any sense? Thank you for the help.
