Can't boot from disk, to use rescue disks, on ASRock motherboard.

Hi,
I have a Windows 8.1 PC that is misbehaving (errors, black screens, stopping services, etc)

I thought I'd try running some rescue disks. (eg. Avast Rescue Disk) but the disk is not available as a boot option.

When I go to the Boot menu the only option is "Windows Boot Manager"

How do I boot from a rescue disk?

Thank you very much for the fast reply and for the helpful link.

In the BIOS I disabled 'Secure boot', set the 'CSM' options to 'Legacy Only' and went to 'Save and exit'
After that there were then 3 boot options available including the disk drive.
I'll put the settings back afterwards.
