Hello Guys! So recently I was playing a League of Legends game and then all of a sudden my computer just froze. My game just froze and I could not do anything at all what so ever. All I saw was the screen frozen and a large buzzing/static sound coming from my headset/speakers . I cannot tell if whether or not this is just a normal computer crash or something more. Please help me! Thanks. :)

P.S.- A few months ago, I was experiencing 2-3 "blue screens of death" and the same exact crashing with the loud buzzing/static sounds. I then realized that my drivers were for the wrong operating system. After installing the right ones the problem stopped. No more blue screens. I even reinstalled Windows as well after wiping my drive. The problems stopped...until recently like I said above (with the crash and loud buzzing/static sound). So there is two questions.
1) Should I be worried about long term affects or damage of my computer coming from the blue screens or crashes?
2)Are the crashes just normal crashes?

Computer Specs.
Motherboard-Asus P87ZZ-V LK
RAM- Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB
Video Card- Nvidia GeForce GTX 660
Processor- Intel Core i3-3225
Power Supply- Corsair GS600 Gaming Series
Hard Drive- Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Operating System- Windows 8.1 (64 bit)

Thank you guys in advance!!! :)

Hi all. I was having a situation like this for years. I had replaced my hard drive and graphics card and the issue still persisted. I *THINK* I have finally solved it. What I did was disable my wifi adapter and use a wired connection on my computer. The issue has not happened since I did this. I have ordered a replacement WIFI NIC to see if that will finally resolve the problem as the wired setup is rather ugly and not convenient.
