Will turning off computer by pressing power button affect performance or damage computer?

i was trying to open a mp4 file when screen went black and said no signal so i had to turn off computer with power button. will this affect my pc performance or damage it?

if you don't do this often no. if you do this every half hour for a few weeks, yes you'd probably damage the psu.

Day you mean the power button used to turn the of on? If so no but it can cause data/is problem's as it cuts off what ever the computer is doing and can cause data loss if you Kent the power switched.gthe the socketitw probably isn't good for the pc
