Hey guys,
long time reader, first time poster. About 6 months ago i put together the rig detailed below and everything was fine, it then hit summer in Australia and im having major overheating issues, not only does my computer sound like its about to take off but it heats up the entire house:

Case: Cougar Pioneer, 3x 120mm case fans, 1 front (in), 2 top (out)
CPU: AMD FX-8320
CPU Cooler: Antec H20 V2 650
MB : 990FX Killer
RAM: 8GB Kingston Beast 2400
3x HDD
1 DVD RW optical drive
GPU: MSI R9 290 4GB
PSU: Silverstone Gold 750W

I was hoping to combat this overheating issue by switching over my Antec cooler for an R1 Cryorig Universal and adding another 3 2000rpm fans, (2 in, 1 out)... i was just hoping for some advice on if this is the best option, or if you guys have any alternatives/advice on what fans/coolers i should use, my budget is 150-200 AUD

Thanks in Advance

The CPU cooler can only do so much if the air feeding it is too hot. You could get a case with better airflow and a side fan mount and another exhaust fan to help temperatures. You can also just pull the side off your current case. Water cooling doesn't tend to help much over air but maybe in this situation with hot ambient temperature would be different?

You have a CPU and GPU that are both power hungry and generate a lot of heat. A Nvidia 9 series and intel chip would help a lot but that would run you a pretty penny.

Laviniuc had a good suggestion about an AC but if you can not do that I would just pull the side of the PC for now and decide if you want to spend money on a better long term solution.

Unfortunately an A/C is a no go, electricity here is super expensive and my pc pulls enough as it is.... My current CPU cooler is a self contained liquid cooler, so you think just upgrade the case? Any suggestions? I found these 3 that look good and would appreciate your thoughts

http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-High-Static-Pressure-Cooling/dp/B00L64NFYC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1423614887&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+sp140+led

those for the front part of the case

those for anywhere else in the case you can get those in alot of differant led colors or whatever realy i like those they look nice and do well. now if ur not one for looks then id suggest these

i just relized the phantek enthoo pro case supports 140mm fans in every fan place so just get however many will fit in the case of the noctuas they are a amazing fan. if u dont get the enthoo pro case make sure what ur case can suppport 140mm or 120mm or both
