Hello, I need to make my Gaming PC better and I have a budget of £170-180 for a MoBo, Graphics Card and CPU. I want to run games such as FarCry 3, Older Call Of Duty games and Hitman etc. I would like help as I'm new to PC. Thanks.

Your cpu is fine really. You may want to upgrade the graphic card and have at least 8gb ram.
The W3520 is essentially a i7 920 which is still not a bad cpu for gaming today.
What is your psu?

This will be absolutely fine at medium to high on those games at 1080p. The other alternative is a dual core Pentium and H81 motherboard but on balance the 860k is probably better for gaming.

The only caveat is that with a pentium build you could upgrade the CPU to an i5 or similar in the future, the 860k is pretty much the end of the line for performance on AMDs fm2+ socket

Make sure you have a decent 450w PSU and some ddr3 ram to go with the system

I agree and tried to comment about 9 hours ago but for some reason I got a 404 error every time I tried to post!

There's life in that old xeon yet, your problem is your graphics card. Look into an r9 280 or gtx 960 and make cpu/motherboard an upgrade in a year or two.

I also think you'll be ok with 6gb of ram and it will probably be hard to find another 2gb stick that exactly matches what you have now.

Make sure your psu is up to a new gpu, the gtx 960 only needs a decent 450w psu and a decent 550w is ideal for the r9 280 though a very good 500w unit would be ok too as you're cpu isn't overclocked
