Keyboard and Mouse randomly stop working when playing games?

Recently, when ever I play a game, my keyboard and mouse both stop working and I have to unplug it from the USB port and put it back in - which sometimes it still doesn't work. At first I was thinking my USB ports are going bad, but then I thought... It only occurs when playing games? It's happened twice so far so I'm avoiding gaming for now.

It's USB 2 for both.

So far only certain games. It happened on Skyrim and a game called Estranged on Steam. It hasn't happened for my other games I've been playing around the same time the issue started though, like Half-Life 1 and Portal 2. I'm gonna try changing the USB port as I have 3 other unused ones. Oh also, both my keyboard and mouse are Logitech so maybe there is a certain driver or update I need.
