I don't know which GPU to get,I've seen benchmark of the best gtx 980 (Classified Edition) vs a r9 290x Vapor X and there was a minimal framerate difference (15 fps MAX). I don't know which gpu to choose considering the price difference is 100 euros. Should I go for the 980 even tho it's a 100 euros more expensive and the maximum fps difference is 15fps?

Also, will a 620w PSU be enough to power a 290x with an i5 4690k?

Solution
The 290x is againg but very powerful nonetheless. AMD will soon be launching the 390X and we'll see what it has to offer. I'd buy a 980 as it is a fresh card and runs cooler and quieter, requires much less power and is a much more consistent performer. The 290x' performance is between the 980 and 970 mostly (sometimes higher, sometimes even lower). You can get the 290x if you feel to save some money and never regret your decision. Another option is to wait for the 390/390x but they wll most likely match the price of the 980.
620W should be enough for he 290x and 4690k

Thanks for answering,

I guess I should take the 980 then, I've never really trusted amd gpu for their noise/power consumption. I'll take the 980g1 as it's the second best from all the videos i've seen.

Have a nice day :)
