What cpu to pair with this video card?

Hi! I'm putting together my first computer, and I'm wondering if I've paired the right cpu and motherboard with the video card that I've already bought. Any advice?

Video Card that I already bought:
SAPPHIRE DUAL-X 100373-2L Radeon R9 280 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card

CPU that I'm considering getting: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor FD8350FRHKBOX

Motherboard I'm considering getting:
GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

I will largely be using it for gaming, I'm finally making the switch to PC only gaming from consoles.

While yes the 4690 is awesome no need for a 200+ cpu to push a 140 dollar gpu especially when the 8350 is more than a match for that gpu

The R9-280 is cheap roundabout now so its not a bad choice but I'd have to ask what resolution are you playing on and what sort of settings are you expecting?

That would go a long way for how I'd advise you.
