I have a high end rig and recordings just aren't what I want.

Before anyone says anything.. I am recording with shadowplay.. She my specs are 2x GTX 970 SLI, i7-4790k, and 16gb of ram.. Now I feel like with this rig I should be getting amazing framerates.. And the game is fine.. But its the recording that always seems a little laggy. Its the same with minecraft.. What is wrong? Why is it choppy? Is my system just not up to par? I'm confused.

Sorry for the late reply.. The videos aren't on youtube.. They are raw shadowplay captures. I feel like its because I play with nvidia vsync on.. so any time I go below 60fps it stutters the recording.. Because I record at 60fps. But why would I not be hitting 60fps with 2 970s? That makes no sense to me. And SLI is enabled.. :/ I don't understand.

At the same time.. I can't play without vsync.. Otherwise the water in the game glitches out.. Do youthink it could be possible to limit fps to 120? or 100? something above 60 that I can hit? I just feel as if 60 should be extremely easy to hit.. With the system I have.
