Hi guys I'm a bit of a novice in pc building still learning. I am building a new computer in 3 weeks to game on. I will be playing mostly league of legends as well as games like skyrim and eventually I will be streaming through twitch. I'm not sure on whether to go amd or Intel and I'm looking to build the best pc i can. I have an operating system, mouse, keyboard, and monitor already covered so the 1000-1100$ will be for the tower. I only shop through Amazon, newegg, and tiger direct and I am in the US. I appreciate any feedback you can help me with than you.

Intel is ahead of AMD right now, definitely.

Overclocking has become very mainstream. After a few Youtube videos, you'll know what to do. This doesn't mean you have to overclock right away though. Leave it at stock, and whenever you need an extra ooomph in performance sometime down the road, then look into overclocking.
