Before a few days ago i had a Fractal Design Define R4 which was to small for me.
After spending the weekend moving the setup above from my fractual to the new storm stryker ive had nothing but problems. I spent about two weeks trying to figure out why it wouldnt POST (ended up being a a 4pin MOLTEX was pluggeed in the wrong spot). After all this and turning on my computer i booted to a dinosaur. its so so slow. I checked and everything is working at full speed with tests but in realistic use its so slow. It takes a solid 45-60 seconds to open chrome or any other programs that should be instant. After doing a windows repair disc.. readjusting/mounting things im just at my wits end. I'm either going to order one from origin, or upgrade this one with something else so heres my question.
With the above list in mind what would i do in those two options? What would be a good thing to upgrade? What would be bottleneck or screwing with performence??

The Corsair CX750M is notorious for having bad parts in them, to be specific, the PSU uses bad secondary capacitors (CapXon Capacitors) and it could be the cause of your problem. The funny thing is, I have this PSU and its working fine for me (maybe I'm just lucky I guess?)

If you want to upgrade your build, the only thing I would suggest you to upgrade is your GPU. There is a cheaper and much more powerful GPU you can buy compared to yours and its this: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn970g1gaming4gd

PS: This GPU is LONG in terms of size, make sure it fits your case!

Would a sq-eel/ weird noise have came from the psu??? could that show a sign that its going bad? For the past month before switching cases i got major noises coming from my case ( sounds like a loud sq-eel noise) I just figured it was my GPU sense it only happens when i did something intensive. Thank you for the suggestion on the GPU upgrade. What makes this one so much better compared to the one i have?

The squealing sounds like Coil Whine, which happens in many computer components and its perfectly normal. I'm mind boggled at this moment because I cannot figure out the root problem of what is slowing your computer down. Sorry!

On to the GPU, the 970 is significantly more powerful than the 750Ti, its cheaper and has better Core clock speeds than the 750Ti. Basically the 970 is better in pretty much everyway except that the 970 can only do 3 way SLI when the 750Ti can do 4 way SLI.

FYI: There are news about the 970's 4GB, apparently the 970 actually has 3.5 GB of high speed memory and 0.5 GB of low priority memory, but it still higher than the 750Ti's 3GB memory and still works better than the 750Ti overall.

*facedesk* whoops I meant the 780Ti, I typed in the wrong thing, sorry :p

But the 970 still blows away the 780Ti in pretty much every way.

I know this is probably going to make me look retarded but your saying that if i had a MSI GTX 970 laying around in another computer i barely use i should switch them? I was under the impressions the 780ti was better

EDIT: for example http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-970-vs-GeForce-GTX-780-Ti

Well one of my friends who own the 780Ti came to me that the 970 was slighty better in performance. But anyways after I saw that benchmark stick to your 780Ti.

In terms of your problem and like I said before a bad PSU can cause slow computer due to power fluctuations of the PSU. Do you have another PSU you could use and test the system?

I'll try my best to help you out, but my memory is failing me. I apologise >.<

Sure you could give it a shot, however before doing so, can you try re-installing your drivers? (Particularly graphic drivers) as sometimes it can fix the issue of your computer being very slow.
