So I had two 9600GTs that died. So I cant just uninstall the drivers from within windows. My buddy had a spare 8800GTS to let me borrow until i get a pair of GTX560 Ti later at the end of the month.

So I installed the 8800 now, and when I boot up, it says that my volatage is REALLY high and my CPU was reading that it was at 128C....and that was just while it was in bios

So I turned it off and have been digging for a solution!

It has a 1000Watt power supply in it right now.

SOMEBODY HELP PLEASE!!!!

can you verify by touching the cooler for the cpu that it is actually that warm? (when sensors die they read extremely high or very very low)
use a multimeter and test the 12V line for your power supply (positive probe in yellow molex cable, and black wire on a black cable.
Considering the test/replacement gpu was working in a friends computer, all other issues if above are good points to your motherboard biting the dust)
