My system config
AMD Phenom ii x2 555 BE core unlocked to 4 cores
Gigabyte GA785GMT-USB3
Corsair 8GB ram.
Sapphire HD 6770
I want to upgrade the system with new graphic card. Say "sapphire/msi r9 270x/280x", but my motherboard is having pci e x16 2.0 and the card supports pci e x16 3.0. I heard the pci 3.0 will work on 2.0 since it has backward compatibility.
My major question is will the system be able to utilize the full potential of r9 270x/280x without having any bottleneck issues with motherboard and processor.
