Hi, could somebody just look over my build and tell me if there is anything that I should change to make the PC better. I've just about reached my budget, but I can make it higher if needed. I don't absolutely need ultra graphics performance, but at least high or medium with a solid fps. The games I will be playing will be intensive games such as skyrim, far cry, the witcher, borderlands, GTA V and games similar to that.

This is the build:

CPU
Intel Core i5-4570 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Memory
G.Skill Sniper Gaming Series 12GB (3 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Storage
Sandisk Ultra Plus 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card
Asus GeForce GTX 760 4GB ROG Video Card

Case
Antec Three Hundred Two ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply
Antec High Current Gamer 620W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Optical Drive
Samsung SH-224DB/RSBS DVD/CD Writer

Operating System
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

Monitor
LG 24EA53V-P 23.8" Monitor

Solution
If you don't plan to overclock:

- core i5 4690 (or even i5 4460, it is fast enough for gaming)
- motherboard of your choice with H97 chipset
- get 2x8GB to fully utilise dual channel configuration, not 3x4
- graphics card: GTX960 instead of 760

If you plan to overclock:

- core i5 4690K
- motherboard of your choice with Z97 chipset
- CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO cooler
- the rest as above

If you will be doing more video editing than gaming, consider Core i7 instead of i5.

If just been researching a bit and what are your thoughts on an r9 280 to replace the gtx 960. I heard that it gets better fps in most games and the price is almost the same in Australia
