Hello,

I have a monster rig and I'm currently using a Roccat Kave XTD 5.1 but it seems to be glitching and conflicting with my system. For example when I launch my PC and change to my 2.0 Speakers I have to cancel any processes regarding the KAVE before I can access the drivers. Could you guys give a more elegant soloution in which I can switch between my headset and speakers without having to go to the rear IO of my computer and unplugging things.

I would quite like desktop control too but that's not a must-have. Thanks!

Your mobo - http://www.asus.com/au/Motherboards/X99DELUXE/specifications/ - has -

Realtek® ALC1150 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC featuring Crystal Sound 2
- Supports : Jack-detection, Multi-streaming, Front Panel Jack-retasking
- High quality 112 dB SNR stereo playback output (Line-out at rear) and 104 dB SNR stereo playback input (Line-in)
- High-fidelity audio OP AMP(s)

ALC1150 is as good or better than most sound cards.

Right, So you're saying if I get a semi decent Headset, Sound card and a semi decent splitter I can then switch between the devices. Do you have any suggestions on Soundcards and headsets/splitter cables that will be £500 there or there abouts, I don't mind reaching further into my pocket if it makes the immersion and experience better.

I don't mind sacrificing some mic quality if I'm honest I just want to be able to experience a good sound, like I'm running 4k now and I wanna have a 'perfect' gaming rig!

Also I used to think Sony MDR V55's were crazy good but when you get to more expensive products, they just seem more solid and you can feel everything! The only thing I 'love' about the Kave is the Subwoofer inside the headphones idea which it uses viabration to make it feel like a super low note that's being transmitted. Once I've got my new stuff I'd be happy to give you my Kave... If you pay shipping!
