Can't screen mirror PC, iPad windows 'phone or android phone to Samsung TV

Screen mirroring problems with Samsung Smart TV. Won't screen mirror phone(s), iPad or windows 8.1 PC. Getting very frustrated. Have downloaded Samsung Smart View 2.0. Doesn't connect to TV from PC - says TV not ready. BT wireless hub connecting to both. Doesn't connect to iPad (also downloaded Samsung Smart View 2.0) but says incorrect pin, although it never asked for a pin to be entered. It does however recognise and display the TV name on iPad, and both Windows and Android phones. None will connect. Need further advice. Thanks

Hi plaintuts - I have had no problem whatsoever viewing pc files on the TV through the BT wireless hub, and smart functions work fine even though hub is in next room with pc, ditto connecting other kit such as samsung HDD/DVD Blue Ray and old Sony HDD/DVD recorder. All the kit is new and old stuff didn't (as far as I know) have "dlna" feature - certainly didn't have wireless or even HDMI connections - it was an old Sony home theatre system and the aforementioned Sony HDD so I don't know what the "DLNA" feature is. Sorry to be a pain - could you explain?
