During games like Battlefield 3 my GPU turns off after 10-30mins. The fans are still on (not GPU) but the HDD activity and my USB Wi-Fi adaptor isn't reciving and signal. I think it is something to do with my PSU because I can max out the fan (100mm) and it doesn't make a difference and my GPU on idle is 17 degrees C, and on BF3 Ultra it's at 36-41 degrees C.

My Specs are:
CPU: FX 8350 @4.00GHz
GPU: MSI R7 250
MB: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
PSU: EVGA 500W 80+
Case: Galaxy 3 Gaming ATX

Please can you help me, it is driving me insane

Also the GPU turns off quicker when the memory clock is set to 1200

It is overclock right ? it is still same it means the problem is the cooling so make sure your cooling is good and place many fans in the GPU and give me the result
but the temps are good it means it is the GPU is kind of broken i think because i overclock my 630 GT to GPU clock 920Mhz it is 1820Mhz on the shader

I've reset my GPU's settings to default (Core - 1100 - Mem - 1150) and put the fan on auto and it turns off pretty much at the start. but if set the GPU to Core 1000 and Mem 1000 with the fan on 80% (Whish doesn't make a differnce between 40%-80% temp wise) it can last upto 4 hours

Try it with core - 1000 Mem 1000 and make the fan auto and run some benchmarking if u have or a game

__Yeah it turns off after 5 mins. It will only play it when the fan is on 80%+ but the temps don't go down after 40%

If you put 80%+ the fan will heat faster but it depends the fan but yeah you can put it in 80 and leave the case open so that there is more air coming inside the case make the parts clean like cpu, fan, and HDD and also the main part is the case
