So after trying to send back my motherboard for a replace meant the company replayed with the motherboards warranty is void because the customer (me) put the "CPU on the wrong way" and bent "most of the pins"

I'm still battling with them because I know I didn't break the pins. I don't even have the CPU yet!!!

I fear I'm probably not going to get a refund or replacement so is there anything and I mean anything I can do to repair this socket.

Solution
Your not going to get a refund or replacement. Damage is damage.
You would need to send it back to the manufacture for repairs ask them how much it cost.

Those pics are really out of focus... But from what I can see there are pins bent not only on the edges but also in the middle? It does not look like a wrong CPU placement to me. To me it looks more like someone dropped something on the MB.

Sadly tho you are only a mere customer and they can deal with this the way they want.. So in my opinion you have two choices. Get a new MB from a different source or go the legal way. Depending on social status and where you live I selden recommend the legal way... Trying to bend the pins back on your own with little or no experience I do NOT recommend.

I sent the motherboard to Gigabyte after calling them and paid £3-5 for postage to send it. They fixed the motherboard, sent it back and put the postage cost on the bill of dabs (the company i bought the motherboard from). On the phone Gigabyte said that dabs often send back broken motherboards and they are unsure why. After getting the motherboard fixed dabs said they would take back the motherboard and give me a full refund. After i got it fixed! Dabs also said i was the one to break the pins and they also said most of them were bent. Gigabyte disagreed and said that is was not my fault and only a few were bent/broken. Overall i will not be buying from dabs again and will not recommend them to anybody else.
