I'm building a new computer soon mostly for editing and music production. (after effects, cinema 4d, fl studio etc...) and i have two options.
X99 Build:

Cooler: Cooler Master 212 EVO
Motherboard: MSI X99S SLI PLUS
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR4
Gpu: MSI GTX 750 TI
Storage: Crucial MX100 128GB (for windows 7) and Seagate 1TB HDD for everything else
Power Supply: Corsair RM550
OR
Z97 Build:
Case: Fractal Design Define R5
Cpu: Intel Core i7-4790K
Cooler: Cooler Master 212 EVO
Motherboard: ASUS Z97-PRO GAMER
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB
Gpu: MSI GTX 960
Storage: Same
Power Supply: Corsair RM550
Let me know what you guys think about what should i go for.
