As the title says, my pc will turn on but never displays anything. It has done the before then over turning it off and on a couple times it would finally display a black screen with white text that said: Detected ATA/ATAPI devices... The system failed to boot several times before. You may press f2 or DEL to enter setup to reconfigure your system. Or UEFI will continue to boot after _ seconds. But now it will not even display that message.

The screen stays off no matter how many times I restart my pc... It probably wasnt the best idea, since I know nothing about BIOS or boot order, but I did change something in the boot order while trying to fix it myself but now I cant get to BIOS to change it back. Also sometimes when I put it into sleep mode, when I come back to it the pc will come out of sleep but the screen will not...

Alright, well I got the message back up after doing that. Would you happen to know what I should do now to fix the error message and get it to boot correctly every time?

Yes, but only after I've restarted it a couple times. It never boots the first time, its like the monitor isnt detecting the input because it never turns on.

i know its a long time ago, but im having this exact same problem.

if i do any type of cpu overclock even if i only turn off turbo core or a simple 100mgz increase i get the same screen as you.

that black start up screen only goes away if i reset uefi setting to default in bios, i dont know whats causing it
