So I can find 50 million reviews and tests on AC routers. That's easy.

But I was hoping someone would have a stable enough internet line that they would run broadband tests on some of these routers via wifi and see who has the CPU power to deliver my 100Mbs or close to it. But I can't find anything....

I get a constant 93-100 on my 100Mbs line when it's not under load.

Does anyone know of an AC router that can at least hit 75?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Kenny

Your wireless throughput is dependent on the router hardware, the network adapter in the client and the WIFI band chosen. A AC1900 router will only give you max 54Mbit if you only have a WIFI G client. If you only use the 2.4Ghz band you might only average 80Mbit but get 200Mbit with 5Ghz.

I believe that SmallNetBuilder has very reasonable throughput tests.
Use the "Router Charts" tool.
