hello, i have windows 7 ultimate and whenever i try to hibernate or sleep my PC it will completely shut the PC down and will not be able to wake back up. Even when i hit the power button to boot up nothing happens. I have to unplug and let all power drain then plug back in and i am able to boot back up. this has to be some kind of software problem and not a power issue because i have tried several outlets/power cord/ power supply and still no fix. any suggestions on how to fix this????

Solution
Disable hibernation and use sleep only. Hibernation is known to cause numerous issues with a variety of hardware configurations in Windows. I'd start by disabling hibernation and checking to see if there is a BIOS update available for your motherboard.
