I'm going to be building my first rig and i need some info on what processor/motherboard i should go with, i'm buying the sapphire radeon R9 270x GPU and haven't decided on which CPU/Motherboard combo to get, i will have about 300 or so for the cpu and motherboard.

The FX6300 is the best bang for the buck and enough for the 270X. As for the motherboard, the best choice might be the Asrock 970 pro/extreme 3 r2.0. But all the asrock boards, the msi gaming board, the msi gd65 and gd80 and all the asus boards are good.

I'd say go with an i5-4460 or a i5-4690k if there's a good deal + some Z97 mobo.

Go to a Intel i5 4590 and MSI z97 gaming 5 motherboard it will go with R9 270x

if you have money to spend with this processor/motherboard go to Sapphire R9 280x vapor x card
it is a high end GPU can last for a long time gaming
