The fan speed on my "Ultra LSP Series V2 750 Watt Power Supply" is EXTREMELY loud!

Alright, so I've had the "Ultra LSP Series V2 750 Watt Power Supply" for about a year and a half now and I've found absolutely no problems with it while running my GTX 660 and gaming on Far Cry games in particular. However, wanting to achieve a higher frame rate I decided to buy a new ASUS Strix GTX 970 and install that into my computer for a much higher performance level! The installation went great and instead of plugging a 6-pin connector into my new GPU like I did in my GTX 660, I plugged in a 6-pin connector and a 2-pin connector for a total of 8 pins and completed the installation of my 970. The PC booted fine and the games are running OUTSTANDINGLY with literally no FPS decreases or lag and a constant 60FPS! However, the reason I am posting in this thread and seeking help is because the "Ultra LSP Series V2 750 Watt Power Supply" I mentioned earlier is reaching UNBEARABLY high levels of sound and it's very much interfering with my gaming. The fan itself on the PSU reaches sound levels of 65Db, which is very strange because my GTX 970 is running at around 70 degrees celsius MAXIMUM and is not overheating whatsoever! As soon as I boot up my game (Far Cry 4) I enjoy playing for about 3 minutes with an amazing FPS rate and am suddenly overwhelmed by an INSANELY loud PSU fan which annoys the hell out of me and persists until I exit the game completely! I'm thinking that I may need a new PSU to support this new upgrade, but at the same time I know that the GTX 970 doesn't consume that much power and at the same time I feel 750W is more than enough to support the 970 and I can confirm that the PSU itself worked perfectly with my previous 660, eliminating the idea that the PSU is broken or anything. I have a Corsair 750D case which sits flat on my desk where the PSU fan is facing downwards away from my components and am thinking that flipping it to face my components may fix the issue, but am unsure. I am really stumped when it comes to figuring out why this unbearable fan noise at 62Db persists while gaming and if there are any fixes or solutions to my problem an answer would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

The PSU fan is running because it is too hot. Your GPU temp of 70C is ok. Your PSU has enough power at 750W.

I would go with another fan in the case. Also, make sure that the case has some distance from furniture and walls so that the fans can work.

While the PSU is releasing the incredibly loud noise I went to feel it and it hardly felt hot at all compared to my GPU which did feel hot. I understand that my PSU has enough power and that my GPU temperature is fine, but the PSU fan was never previously running this fast despite me playing the same games, but with an older GPU... I think this leaves the only option to the problem being directly linked with my new GTX 970...

The noise still persists during gameplay and to make matters worse a buzzing noise has begun coming from the PSU at all times and not just during gameplay...
