I am NOT a PC gamer. I am NOT a pc tech-savy, nor have I ever put together a PC on my own. My PC was put together by a friend. I have a PS3, this PC, and I have never needed anything else.

Then I saw Dragon Age Inquisition. It looks great, and I would like to play it. However, I saw the PS3 graphics and I did NOT like them. Then I saw the PC and PS4 graphics and I was blown away. It was beautiful. I don't generally care about the graphics, but this game looks great; and I want to play it.

However, I don't know if it's better to buy a PS4 with the game or just upgrade my PC for it to be able to play the game. My current specs are (using Speccy):
Summary
Operating System
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz 41 °C
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology

Motherboard
ASRock H61M-VG3 (CPUSocket) 39 °C
Graphics
LG TV (1360x768@60Hz)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (XFX Pine Group) 37 °C
Storage
465GB ATA TOSHIBA DT01ACA0 SCSI Disk Device (SATA) 35 °C
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NS95 SCSI CdRom Device

Realtek High Definition Audio

If I had to upgrade my PC to play DA: I on Ultra, from these componentes, what would I need to upgrade? The RAM and GPU? In that case, which GPU should I buy? I primarilly buy on Amazon, and if I have to add it to the PC myself, I'll look for tutorial and do it. But I have no idea which GPU I should buy or how much I should increase my RAM.

ANY help is highly appreciated. Sorry for the long post and bad english, and thank you very much in advace.

Solution
Your current setup is already more powerful than a ps4, so buying one now would be somewhat silly.
I recommend that you buy some more ram, since 4gb is not really enough.
Another 4gb stick of ddr3 should be good.

At that resolution you should be fine with your current gpu.
Do understand that while the PS4 is the cheaper way to go, it's not going to play as well or look as good as it does on a good gaming PC, especially if you can go higher than 1080p resolution.

Right now you should be able to play at 1366x768 without much problems, but if you decide to go to a higher resolution so things look much better, just compare the resolution to a matching graphics card that performs pretty well.

It's not as impressive when you notice I joined in February last year and not yesterday. ;)
Though I appreciate the gesture none the less. :)

Another 4Gb of ram would be good, especially if it gets you running in dual channel mode. Just make sure to buy an identical stick to limit compatibility issues (or a kit if that isn't possible.

As for GPU upgrade it depends on WHICH 7800 series card you have. If it is a low end one (7850) you probably will want to upgrade. If so I strongly recommend a 970 if you can afford one, I am able to hit pretty stable 60FPS in Inquisition at 1080p with ultra across the board (no Multi-Sample AA).

Wow. It's my first time here and I did NOT expect so many replies this soon. First of all, thank you SO much for answering. I will try running the game with my current setup and if it doesn't work that well, I'll upgrade my RAM to 8GB, and then run it again. I'll also check out your other GPU recommendations. Thanks a lot! I'll be updating soon to tell you if the game worked.

Short and simple. Thanks a lot for answering! I'll be upgrading my RAM to 8GB soon, since you and others seem to recommend that. I'll be trying out the game to see if it works!
