I recently got a 4790k and I have two boards at my disposal a maximus vi extreme (Z87) and a maximus vii her (Z97). I only plan on doing dual SLI and I don't need the mPCIE. I want to try and overclock the best I can. Which board would you guys suggest. I am leaning towards the hero because of the newer chipset, I read that I should be able to overclock better. Using a H100i with coolermaster sickflo fans.

Thanks for your quick response, I am excited to get this build going I am going to have 2 840 evo 500gb ssd in raid 0 and 2 780ti so this machine should fly! I did replace the fans on h100i with coolermaster sickleflo fans. They have good static pressure but are loud. I don't care about the sound cuz I have them hooked up to a fan controller that I can turn down when not gaming. What are your opinions on the h100i? I don't want to do custom loop due to my inexperience with a custom loop system
