i7 Quad Core 4900MQ 2.8 GHZ Only shows 2 Out of 4 cores

hi guys I wonder if I can get a help, my processor is i7 4900mq quad core
but the task manager only shows 2 out of 4 core and it seems the hyperthreading is not working .
appreciate your help

Um, should have 4 cores and 8 threads...

Might check the BIOS for disabled cores. It may be parking cores, though I didn't think that took them out of the system specs. Plug the computer in and set it to maximum performance mode in the power options menu and see if it persists.
