Good Gaming Desk?

Hey all,

Just curious - any ideas for a good gaming desk for a new workstation? Just finished building a rig, and want to set up with a good gaming desk that can (eventually) accommodate up to 3 vertical 24" ASUS monitors. Aside from that, and wanting it to be black, I'm up for anything.

What desk do you have? Did you build it custom? Where did you get it? Looking for any help anyone is willing to provide.

For something like this, you are better off with building it yourself. You can then make it a custom size to accommodate your monitors and your space.

They have precut bookshelves at the Home Depot & Lowes, and these can be further cut into the lengths that you need. They can be pieced together and configured into a nice desk. If it is raw wood, it can be easily painted, stained, or polyurethaned.

You can also use 1/2" plywood, but it can be difficult to get home with a smaller vehicle, although some places will cut it for you into more manageable pieces. The post below goes through some of the options.
