Hello,

I recently got a new 120 GB Kingston SSD, installed 8.1 64x on it, and made sure it booted from the SSD. I noticed it went really slow, and turns out it was booting from my old WD HDD 320GB, so I went to my motherboard and set the Hard Drive BBS Properties to JUST the SSD, like

But when I restart my PC, it resets to my Western Digital HD on top of the SSD on the same menu.I also changed my boot options to just the SSD like so

So every time I boot my PC (every day after school), I have to mash F11 and select to boot from the SSD.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

AMD FX 6300
MSI R9 270x 2GB
Western Digital Blue 320 GB HDD
Kingston 120 GB SSD
8 GB DDR3 RAM
ASRock 970 Extreme 3
(If you need any more specs I can supply lol)

If this is a very new install and you're not worried about redoing it...yes, that would be easiest.
Install with only the SSD connected.
