Video card broke, installed new one, can't install drivers

My video card broke and I went out to buy a new one. It's broke due to someone (not myself) vacuuming the inside.
The new one is in, and I wanted to install it with the integrated graphics, but I can't get it to work. The screen is black and stays black. Once I disconnect the VGA it says "No Signal" but other than that it's black.
There is no beeps or boops when it turns on. The fans DO spin and I think the new graphics card does have power. (It's an AMD Radeon r5 which I don't believe requires its own power - but that's a whole other issue.)
So, what do I do? I can't access the BIOS, or anything for that matter, so I'm kinda stuck here.
I thought that perhaps the motherboard broke but I wanted to check here before I take it in.

EDIT: I should add that the video card specifically told me not to put in the disk until I'm prompted to do so, which I wasn't so far because I can't see it.

Yes, that's what I meant. Sorry for the confusion. Not a native speaker ;)

I just tried it and I'm still getting nothing. Any ideas?

I've tried both. The card shouldn't quite work yet though because I haven't installed the drivers. Here's the specs I know:

Old card:
ATI Radeon HD2400Pro Triple Core

New card:
AMD Radeon R5 230 1GB

I'm unsure of what my motherboard is. It's a prebuilt computer and I'm not quite comfortable taking it apart entirely. It seems that to identify it you need software which isn't quite at my disposal :p

All the fans turn on so I'm assuming that means it's on. The problem is that I can't seem to use the integrated graphics because it's showing up as "No Signal" on my screen. My monitor doesn't support different inputs

I would try clearing the CMOS, do you have the manual for the PC. If so consult the manual for instructions. Removing the coin battery from the motherboard for a few minutes should work. If you are not comfortable doing that, I would recommend taking it to a repair shop.

Make sure that the monitor cable is plugged into the motherboard monitor / graphics output port.

Doesn't change anything, sadly. Sorry if I'm sounding whiny or pessimistic, by the way, I'm just trying to say what's happening :)

EDIT: Someing did change; when the system turn off you can now hear the hard drive sopping. It didn't do this before!

That's definitely something that's above my skill level. I guess I'll take it in and see what happens. I'll update this thread if something happens.

Thanks to both of you for your help!
