Hi, I was wondering if anyone who knows about or owns a Phanteks Enthoo Primo and wheather or not it can fit a 140x140x38mm fan on the top? I need to know right away! Thanks!

Kinda, when you remove the top mesh filter you will see a "drop-in" housing your RAD and top fans will go in there, and the "lip" that holds the RAD in place will have the 2nd bank of fans attached to it. You have to use longer fan screws as they have to clear about 5--6mm of lip space. Unless you have seen the case it is hard to describe, but once you see it you'll know what I mean.

Now below the Lip you attach the 2nd batch of fans, so they are technically not attached to the RAD but they are attached to the case, just below the RAD. This give you the ability to use a a thicker RAD, but if you like the industrial look you can go thicker as the fans will stick out of the top of the case.

Also remember that you can break the loop...

Are you guys sure? All the videos I've seen with the Primo look like it can only fit 140x140x25mm fans on the top. Sorry for doubting, I just need assurance because I really want these fans that are 38mm.

The top can take a 140x4 RAD if you run a push pull you have to run 1 set of fans at the top and the 2nd set of fans below the "lipped" RAD cup, so technically only 1 set of fans is connected directly to the RAD the other is on the underside of the case. 60mm is the biggest I would go for this setup if you remove the top mesh completely you can than go bigger, but RAD and fans will protrude from the top.

The Primo has multiple points for RAD placement so you don't have to have 1 RAD on the top, you can have 280 just behind the front facade as well and break the loop up.

Yeah, that fan assembly for the RAD has to seat below the pre-made lip under the lid. If you try and have a full push/pull assembly then you will have problems with out setting the fans below the lip.

Unless you like the industrial look and do not mind fans sticking out of the top of the machine...
